We  used to live a pretty suburban life-- went to college for several 
years and got degrees, bought a three-bedroom house, had two bikes each 
(one for mountains and one for roads), had three chickens, two cars and 
two very respectable jobs. Then we said good-bye to all of it, and now 
our home is a one bedroom apartment in one crowded, smoggy, and 
interesting city.
In 2016, life got more interesting with the addition of our daughter, who we will call Dumpling. She was made in China and born in China.
So now we are still trying to fit into China and figure out how to be parents.
